Hey, What's Good Family! Thanks for stopping by my page. My name is RJ Groove, and I am in LOVE with Jesus Christ. I moved to Memphis from Indianapolis in 1975.  I am a product of the Memphis City Schools system, and received an honorable discharge from the U.S. Army in 1988. I am a single parent of a 12 year old active young Man of God, I love sports, working out, and I love to travel. 

My first radio gig was in 1990, I was hired by Bobby O' Jay to do Friday nights on K-97. And now, I've come full circle, as I host a radio show that currently airs on two different stations in Memphis, called The "Kingdom Party." It airs Saturday evenings from 6-7pm CST on WHAL 95.7 HallelujahFM a 24hr Gospel format, or online @ www.hallelujahfm.com, and on Sunday Mornings from 7-9am CST on WHRK K-97FM a 24hr Urban(mainstream hip hop/r&b)format or online @ www.k97fm.com. 

My background hails from the party scene in being a night club dj/mc. The energy that I gave in that dispensation of my life has now been SHIFTED, and now has a PURPOSE to it…TO GLORIFY THE FATHER GOD!  Jesus says in John 12:32 "And I, if and when I am lifted up from the earth [on the cross], will draw and attract all men [Gentiles as well as Jews] to Myself." This is what we do! Lift up Jesus!..and if you listen, my prayer and declaration is always for heart, minds, and lives to be changed towards Kingdom living, through the Kingdom Party!

The "Kingdom Party" is an earthly representation of the celebration the angels have in heaven when one sinner repents, according to Luke15:10.  I am currently working towards my bachelor's degree in Music Production, and Entertainment Business, so that I can intelligently walk out purpose, and lean closer towards my destiny. I would also like to mentor, and give back a wealth of knowledge to young up an coming artists.
