Sherry Mackey is a native of Memphis, TN. She attended the University of Memphis where she majored in communications. Sherry began her radio career in 1998 at AM 1380 WOOM where she was lovingly known as the praise & worship hostess. Sherry's career quickly took off as she became the Musical Director and ultimately the Program director of the station. She hosted her own daily talk show called "The Road to Reconciliation". Sherry later joined the Clear Channel family as an announcer on "AM 990 The Light" and now ultimately on Hallelujah. She serves at the Morning Show Producer and can be heard on the Early Morning Praise Party along side Michael Adrian Davis and Eileen Collier Monday thru Friday from 6am to 10am in Memphis, TN on 95.7 Hallelujah FM; Jackson, MS on 95.5 Hallelujah FM; Baton Rouge, LA on Hallelujah; and Birmingham, AL on 105.1 Hallelujah FM. Sherry also hosts her own show “The Sherry Mackey Show” Monday – Friday 1pm to 6pm and Sunday 6am to 10am in Birmingham, AL and in Memphis, TN Saturday’s 3pm to 6pm Sherry has not only worked in radio but in television as well. She has hosted television programs and talk shows. She is a motivational speaker and professional voice talent and has been employed as a corporate Radio Personality. She has been called on to host concerts, theatrical productions and other events in various parts of the nation. She has a love of theater and has played supporting and lead roles in a number of major productions. More than anything Sherry is a Holy Ghost filled young lady that loves the Lord and loves His people. Everyone that knows her calls her a friend. She loves to remind everyone: "You Are Fearfully & Wonderfully Made in the Image of Christ".

Mary Mary is showing up for the 28th Annual Stellar Awards next year....Not only are they co-hosting this year with Kirk Franklin but check out how many nominations they have this year:

Two of Gospel music’s biggest acts will share the microphone when Kirk Franklin and Tina and Erica Campbell of Mary Mary co-host the 28th Annual Stellar Gospel Music Awards.

The annual salute to Gospel’s best and brightest performers returns to Nashville’s iconic Grand Ole Opry House Theater Saturday, January 19, 2013. WEtv reality stars Mary Mary lead the list of nominees with nine total nominations based on their latest disc, “Go Get It.” Nominations include “Song of the Year,” “Contemporary Group/Duo of the Year,” and “Contemporary CD of the Year,” in addition to recognition for the project in the “Producer of the Year,” “Music Video of the Year” and “Recorded Music Packaging of the Year” categories.

Newcomer Charles Jenkins who, in addition to earning a “Best New Artist” nomination for his debut CD “The Best of Both Worlds,” garnered recognition in seven additional categories including “Artist of The Year” and “Song of The Year.” Other multiple nominees include superstars Marvin Sapp and Fred Hammond with six nominations each, both nominated in the hotly-contested “Male Vocalist of the Year” and “CD of the Year” categories; legendary Andre Crouch with five nominations, including “Artist of the Year” and “Song of the Year” for his disc “The Journey”; and “Best New Artist” contender Isaac Carree with five nods for his solo debut “Uncommon Me.”

Recognizing the impact of the digital age on music and popular culture, Stellar Awards executive producer and Central City Productions Founder/Chairman Don Jackson has embraced social media and digital platforms to attract new audiences to the show.

“I am astounded and extremely pleased with the record breaking fan voting of over 30,000 votes, which exceeded last year by more than 400 percent,” said Jackson. “This is a great testament to the outstanding artist nominees and their projects. Also, we received a similar turnout of fan voting for the gospel music radio stations of the year, which totaled over 20,000 online ballots.”
