A docu-series featuring the late Whitney Houston's family, will debut October 24 on Lifetime, according to The Hollywood Reporter.  The show is called The Houstons: On Our Own, and will focus on the life of Whitney's daughter Bobbi Kristina, who goes by "Krissy," according to the website.

Whitney's mother, Cissy Houston, will also star on the show, along with Pat Houston, who was Whitney's sister-in-law and manager.  Pat's daughter Rayah is also set to appear, along with family friend Nick Gordon.

Back in May, show producers announced that Whitney's closest confidantes, including her cousin Dionne Warwick and dear friend CeCe Winans, would be featured on the show.

Over the summer, when ABC News Radio asked BeBe Winans whether he'd be dropping in on the reality show, he said, "I laugh when people say 'reality show,' and the reason why I laugh is because my type of reality show is a show where people don't know cameras are there.  If you know a camera is in front of you, to me that's not a reality show."

To gear up for the premiere of The Houstons: On Our Own, Lifetime will air the tribute special Remembering Whitney on October 17, according to The Hollywood Reporter.  The program will feature unseen footage of Whitney, along with clips from interviews with Bobbi Kristina and other people in Whitney's circle.
