Hollywood, CA --Actress Wendy Raquel Robinson and Grammy® award-winning recording artist Donnie McClurkin will host the second annual Gospel Goes to Hollywood Awards Luncheon (GGTH), honoring Marla Gibbs with the Living Legend Award, and the Faith and Endurance Award to actress, singer, and activist Sheryl Lee Ralph, and Sony Pictures executive DeVon Franklin, with performances by multi-award-winning recording artists/reality TV stars Mary Mary, recording artist Ami Rushes, and Christian pop artist J. Kingdom, Friday, February 22, 2013.

 

The star-studded event, hailed, as a resounding success last year, recognizes "Faith in Hollywood" by spotlighting professionals in TV and film that have overcome hurdles and persevered through faith. More importantly, the event will raise awareness and funds in support of the fight against domestic violence where a portion of the proceeds will go to assist battered women and their children, via the Helpppping Hands Foundation. A donation will be given to Haven Hills, Inc. for battered women.
