Los Angeles, CA -- The rumor mill was hard at work Monday over claims from an "inside" source that actress LisaRaye McCoy is in a serious relationship with megachurch pastor Noel Jones, who leads The City of Refuge church in Gardena, Calif., and that the two were preparing to wed. According to several online reports, McCoy and Jones have been in a serious relationship for a good while and were considering making it official.

However, McCoy responded to the rumors Monday on her Twitter account (@TheRealLRaye):

"Come on come on y'all...IF I was engaged u would see a ring 1st of all AND that wouldn't b a secret becuz 1 would b happy u think?....Thanks"

McCoy did not deny being in a relationship with Jones. The actress was previously married to Turks and Caicos Premier Michael Misick. Her reality show, "The Real McCoy," currently airs on TV One.

The so-called inside source also claims that McCoy was in attendance this past Sunday at The City of Refuge, reportedly sitting in the "special section."

Jones, 61, was previously married and has three children. His sister is actress and model Grace Jones.

Reports published online Monday indicate that Jones aspires to move beyond church ministry, and that McCoy is looking to pitch a reality program titled "Keeping Up With the Joneses."

Fans reacted to the rumors on Twitter with speculation on how McCoy would be received at The City of Refuge as the "first lady."
